Availability, Microsoft identity, and sharing
Tabloom has no public self-service sign-up. Microsoft identity authorizes the owner and invited guests. A share is tied to the invited email and role; it does not merge Microsoft accounts or create a public notebook.
If access is missing, confirm the intended Microsoft account and ask the notebook owner to verify the invitation email and role. Support will not ask for a password, verification code, Microsoft token, or browser identity key.
Explicit offline reading
Download a notebook while connected to create a sanitized read-only copy in identity-scoped IndexedDB. A bounded recent-page setting can also retain eligible pages. Offline copies are not end-to-end encrypted and can be read by someone with access to that browser profile.
Offline mode does not support editing, creation, deletion, sharing, scans, AI, Search, Inbox, Trash, live History, or server settings. Reconnecting does not immediately enable editing: Tabloom first completes an authoritative refresh. If it cannot, the copy stays read only.
Sign-out clears private offline stores and is blocked if that clear fails. Before sharing or disposing of a device, remove downloaded notebooks or clear Tabloom site data in the browser.
Exports, Archive, Trash, and History
Tabloom provides page, notebook, and workspace exports. The default workspace export is a ZIP containing Markdown pages, notebook indexes, optional link listings, and referenced or Media-tab attachments by default. HTML is also available; the PDF option creates printable HTML for browser print-to-PDF. Exports do not include the Microsoft account or independent provider records.
Archive is reversible and does not free stored content. Trash is retained for up to 30 days before the daily permanent-delete sweep. Page History keeps the latest 50 versions per page. Restore content before those limits if you need it.
Operator backups are different from exports: verified local SQLite-and-upload bundles are retained for 14 days. They are used for service recovery and are not available as a self-service account download.
AI, semantic search, OCR, and quotas
Anthropic handles selected generation requests, Voyage AI creates semantic embeddings, Azure Computer Vision Read API performs configured OCR, and a configured Azure OpenAI gpt-image-1 deployment can clean a selected Inkbox scan into a PDF. If a provider is disabled or unavailable, Tabloom reports a failure instead of treating the operation as successful.
The current per-identity limits are 30 admitted requests in a rolling hour and a $5 estimated monthly processing budget. Wait for the rolling window or next monthly period after a quota message; repeatedly retrying does not move the request to another identity. Generated and extracted output should be checked against the original.
Current account-deletion gap
Tabloom does not currently have a self-service account-deletion control or account-deletion API. Emptying Trash or permanently deleting a notebook is content deletion, not Microsoft-account or full Tabloom-account deletion.
Email privacy@nintek.comto request a manual review of Tabloom-held account data. The request does not delete the underlying Microsoft account, another identity’s records, or provider-held operational data, and it is not an immediate automated action.
Troubleshooting checklist
- Confirm the intended Microsoft identity and notebook role.
- Reconnect and wait for a complete authoritative refresh before editing.
- For offline issues, remove and redownload the affected notebook while connected.
- Check Trash and History before assuming recent content is permanently gone.
- Record the browser, operating system, time, notebook or page title, and visible recovery message for support.
Do not send Microsoft credentials, private tokens, full notebook exports, or unredacted personal scans unless support requests a specific safe sample.
