Sortie Privacy Policy
Version 1.0 - Effective August 23, 2026
This policy explains how Nintek ("we", "us") handles information in Sortie, an iPhone-only, portrait pre-release game for iOS 14 or later.
The short version. Sortie keeps campaign progress, records, and settings in a local JSON save inside the app's container. It has no Nintek account, login, cloud-save service, or gameplay backend. Apple Game Center is optional and is used only for achievements.
Information Nintek receives
The Sortie app does not send your player profile, campaign progress, level records, settings, or Game Center identity to Nintek. If you email us, we receive the address and information you choose to include so we can respond. The app does not automatically attach its local save or your Apple Account information to a support message.
Data stored on your iPhone
Sortie stores completed campaign progress, per-level wins, best times and play counts, total and flawless wins, and gameplay, audio, haptic, and text-size settings in a local JSON file. The file remains in the app's container on your iPhone. Sortie does not implement account-based or app-level cloud sync, and Nintek does not receive a server copy.
Apple may include app data in a device backup according to the backup settings and services you control. Those backups are operated by Apple, not by Nintek.
Optional Apple Game Center
When Game Center is available and enabled for your Apple Account,Sortie can authenticate the local Game Center player and report achievement progress. The current integration does not use leaderboards, and the full campaign remains playable without Game Center.
Apple handles the Game Center player name, identifier, achievements, and related profile activity under Apple's terms and privacy practices.Nintek does not operate the Game Center account system or receive your Apple Account password.

Advertising, analytics, and tracking
Sortie has no ads and sends no analytics or tracking data toNintek. The current iOS privacy manifest declares no tracking.
Retention and deletion
Local game data remains on an iPhone until Sortie changes it or you delete the app. Deleting Sortie removes its local save from that iPhone. Because there is no Nintek account or gameplay backend,Nintek cannot retrieve, restore, or delete a server copy.
Deleting Sortie does not delete your Apple Account, Game Center profile, or Apple-held achievement records. Use Apple's Game Center and privacy controls to manage information held by Apple.
Children and regional privacy rights
Sortie is a general-audience strategy game. It does not knowingly send a child's personal information or gameplay to a Nintek service. Apple's age, family, consent, and account controls apply when a child uses Game Center.
Privacy laws in your region may provide rights over personal information a business holds. Nintek does not hold Sortie gameplay or Game Center account data. Contact us if you believe we hold personal information in support correspondence.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy if Sortie, its Apple service integrations, or our data practices change. The version and effective date above identify the policy currently published for Sortie.
