Current availability and readiness

ShopKeep’s server and deletion lifecycle are implemented and tested. Native build 2.0.1 (35) is VALID and attached, but physical-device Apple and Microsoft sign-in and deletion checks, App Privacy publication, reviewer credentials, review submission, and public release remain pending.

Current private access does not imply a public beta, public App Store listing, price, or release date.

Apple and Microsoft sign-in

Apple and Microsoft create separate ShopKeep accounts. If inventory looks empty, confirm the active provider before assuming data was lost. Signing in with the other provider opens that provider’s separate inventory.

Support will not ask for passwords, verification codes, Apple authorization codes, Microsoft bearer tokens, deletion-retry tokens, or encrypted provider credentials.

Private photos and documents

ShopKeep stores media in the selected account’s SQLite database and returns it only through authenticated, account-scoped, no-store requests. A raw media request is not a public share link.

If media stops loading, confirm the correct provider session, reconnect, and reopen the tool. A generic not-found response can mean the item belongs to a different account, was permanently removed, or is not available to the current bearer session; it does not reveal another account’s inventory.

Installable PWA and offline limits

ShopKeep has no offline inventory mode. The native app has no local database mirror, write queue, or persistent media cache; it fetches inventory from the Azure service and keeps media only in memory. The web client can install an application shell, but inventory, authenticated media, exports, account changes, and deletion remain online operations. A visible shell is not a data backup.

Exports and recovery

• CSV inventory is suitable for rows and spreadsheet review.
• Location-label CSV carries location, sub-location, and QR data.
• Insurance PDF dossier is a formatted report, not a restorable database.
• Database backup is a downloadable SQLite copy and can include sensitive photos and documents stored as BLOBs.

ShopKeep also keeps up to 14 local operator recovery bundles. An optional protected off-host exporter can publish private recovery copies to Azure Blob storage when enabled. Operator backups are not a substitute for keeping your own export.

Delete or recreate a ShopKeep account

In the private native build, open Settings → Account & Data, review the provider-scoped deletion boundary, and confirmDelete ShopKeep Account. The app clears local credentials, caches, widgets, search state, and temporary exports only after the server confirms the selected account was deleted.

If deletion fails, the account remains active and the app provides a recovery path; do not assume the data is gone. Contact support with the provider, build, time, and visible error. Physical-device verification is still a release gate, so report any mismatch rather than repeating destructive steps.

Deletion cannot be undone. It affects only the active provider-backed workspace. It does not delete the Apple or Microsoft account, combine providers, or remove the other provider’s ShopKeep workspace. A later fresh sign-in can create a new empty generation; it does not restore deleted inventory from an old session.

Troubleshooting checklist

1. Confirm web versus native and record the app or browser version.
2. Confirm the Apple or Microsoft provider used for the affected inventory.
3. Reconnect, reopen the tool, and retry one failed save or media load.
4. Keep original documents and make an export before destructive recovery.
5. For a repeated failure, record the time, tool identifier, action, and visible recovery message without sending credentials.
