Cairn Support

Updated: August 23, 2026

Cairn is a native Microsoft certification exam-prep app for iPhone and iPad. It has no account or login. Version 3.0 build 2 was rejected, the combined app-and-IAP submission remains unresolved, and there is no public App Store listing.

Current build access and Full Exam Library

In the current internal build, the eight Courses and complete AI-901 workspace do not require a purchase. The proposed one-time, non-consumable Full Exam Library is priced at $14.99 in the United States submission and is still in review. It is not publicly purchasable, and there is no Cairn subscription or account.

Apple’s App Store and StoreKit handle purchases, payment details, refunds, Family Sharing, and restores. Nintek does not receive your payment-card details.

Restore a purchase in an authorized test build

If the purchase still does not appear, check the Apple Account’s purchase history and Family Sharing settings. Apple Support can help with billing, refunds, or an App Store transaction that is missing from the account. These steps do not imply public availability.

Pending purchases and Family Sharing

A purchase marked Pending has not completed through Apple, so Cairn cannot unlock the paid exams yet. This can happen while Ask to Buy approval or another App Store payment step is waiting. The library unlocks after StoreKit reports a completed entitlement.

Family Sharing depends on Apple’s purchase eligibility, Purchase Sharing, and family settings. On a family member’s device, confirm those settings, use the same Apple Account expected to receive the shared purchase, and run Restore Purchases. Apple decides whether a purchase is eligible and available to the family. Refund requests are also handled by Apple, including throughreportaproblem.apple.com.

Use Cairn offline

Exam and course content is bundled with the app and remains readable offline. Study progress is recorded in the local SwiftData store, so you can continue studying without a connection. iCloud sync and App Store purchase or restore checks require Apple’s services and may wait until the device is online.

Troubleshoot iCloud sync

Nintek does not operate a progress server and cannot retrieve, merge, or restore study history from one.

Reminders, widget, and Live Activity

Daily reminder: Turn on Daily study reminder inCairn Settings. If permission was denied, enable notifications in Apple Settings for Cairn. Focus modes and Scheduled Summary can also delay how a local notification appears.

Widget: Open Cairn after studying so its extension can refresh the latest on-device summary. If a widget remains stale, remove it from the Home Screen and add it again.

Live Activity: The countdown appears while a timed Exam Sandbox is running. Make sure Live Activities are allowed for Cairnin Apple Settings. Dynamic Island presentation is available only on supported iPhone models; the Lock Screen presentation does not require a Dynamic Island.

Independent study material

Cairn is independent and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Microsoft. Microsoft, Azure, and related names and marks belong to Microsoft. Practice content is independently authored, is not made from actual exam questions, and does not guarantee that you will pass an exam.
